"The room was pretty gross. It smelled like stale cigarette smoke. Not like someone had just been smoking in there, but like it had years of smoking and it’s embedded in everything. Walking through the property you can tell it’s not well cared for. They painted the walls in sections but there was excess paint on all door jams and signs. It’s like someone painted who had no skill and got paint everywhere. The front desk staff was nice enough though. The breakfast was sub par at best. The...

"Sherman Inn offers a special quaintness that you cannot receive from the chain hotels. This is GEM! The spacious rooms creates a charming and warm environment. "

"The property has a lot offer in summer. We went during winter. Rooms are falling apart, dirty and more. Staff wasn't friendly. There no breakfast included as advertised. During summer yes. An updated web site would have been nice. I would have stayed at another one. Price for my stay was rediculous seeing as it was regular rate for summer. Never again. We found nicer places for less after so next time will stay somewhere else that will have breakfast included no matter the season"
