We have been coming to Hotel Villa Rosario for several years now, and the fact that is still one of our favourite hotels in the world speaks volumes. As well as being a beautiful and unique building in a perfect location, Villa Rosario exudes top class in all areas. Check in was as charming as ever, and our room is very well equipped and very comfortable. The breakfast system here is all about quality service, and instead of the ubiquitous buffets that you get elsewhere, you have personal...

Tour by a Monk, although in Spanish, we were able to really see the church and the Monastery. Monk was very engaging for a full 45 minutes.Thebreakfast was excellent and very plentiful.Dinner the same. The Cafe/Bar really excellent with plenty of choice. Car parking was safe and plentiful.

Stayed here for 2 nights the hotel was excellent value and conveniently located for everything. Would definitely stay here again when we return to Cangas de Onis.

Excellent stay, would recommend this beautiful hotel

Good Location nice comfortable bed good shower and a very good hairdryer

A lovely hotel in a fabulous location. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean with an amazing view down the coastline. Perhaps a little expensive for what you get as the breakfast was fairly basic and didn't start until 9.00am which is a bit late if you're going out for the day. No tea or coffee making facilities but that's not a big surprise. Right on the coast path which leads to a couple of good beaches to the East and into Gijon to the West. You can walk into Gijon but its a fair...

Lovely hotel really nice staff excellent food in the bar, difficult to find hotel as it looks like your driving up a high street but once you have found the parking for hotel it is easy to find.lovely old building with lots of character and you walk out the front into a lovely square with lots of shops and restaurants.

Good staff. Warm welcome. Old by-passed hotel typical of Spain. Just managing. Low room rate manages your expectations. Food was good. Warm atmosphere of locals. Only negative was the locked fire exit to the main bar. A push bar MUST be fitted.

Superb!!

wonderful peaceful night next to the sacred cave, once all the day trippers had left. Decent menú del día, wonderful views of the narrow valley, todo buen

This is a charming little hotel ... it is simple and functional ... it doesnt pretend to be anything that it is not ... but it's secret is in having a friendly and welcoming owner and friendly and attentive staff ... Boca de Huergano is not the centre of the universe, but I get the impression that this hotel is popular, loved and used by the locals in the area which gives it a very nice atmosphere and tourists are made to feel very welcome ... the food is good home cooked simple fayre made with...

Lovely boutique hotel in Gijon in a perfect location.

amazing hotel, location, room, facilities, staff, beautiful breakfast , right on the beach, highly recommend not cheap but get what you pay for, parking a hassle tho but found somewhere eventually to park as they have limited parking, lovely town & great beach etc

Great staff, lovely room & convenient location

It’s a really unusual and unique place with stunning views of the mountains. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant has lovely food. We had a lovely suite with a large window seat. The drive up is quite difficult as we had a larger vehicle. It would be good to advise guests of this in advance and/or provide an option at the bottom of the village lanes for parking. All in all we had a very memorable stay.

Great hotel, lovely setting. Didn't try the evening menu, but breakfast was ok. Staff ready to accomodate your needs and very friendly. Its a bit to far to walk to the main town, but pleanty of parking and nice atmosphere. Would stay again.

Really spectacular built hotel and great reception staff. Very helpful staff booking taxi helping with the Internet. Breakfast good both continteal and buffet. Rooms well designed and bathrooms very generous.
