The property seemed quite dated. Items I noticed:
- In the hallways, there were chunks of drywall on the corners by the elevator on the fall.
- In my room, 330, the mattress was worn down and lumpy,
- toilet seat was lose,
- the caulk around the tub was pealing/missing, looked like it was redone and done sloppy.
- Toilet made a noise the whole time I was there. - - The noise around my room was quite loud during the stay. Not sure if this room was near hvac room or what, but it was noticeable.
- Cabinet doors in the kitchenette seemed lose and not flush. One was just hanging on.
- some of the dishes and utensils were dirty/chipped
- stains were on the sheets
Aside from the wear and tear items I noticed, the stay went well. The breakfast was great and the staff in the kitchen was very pleasant each morning. The evening social is a nice offering, enjoyed the meals. The front desk girl was polite and attentive at check in, and someone was present at any time I came and went, always acknowledging the guests.
A fire alarm did go off at about 5am in the morning. Not sure what caused it, but there was no fire. Once that was determined, I was surprised the front desk night auditor couldn’t shut it off, but I get it’s most likely for safety reasons.
All and all, I gave an average rating due to the quality of the property and my room. The staff/amenities were excellent, but the property seemed dated and run down. And not taken care of very well.
