Irina, you booked a reservation under your name then sent your daughter to check-in, our staff is not rude for following proper procedures no hotel downtown will check in a guest whose name does not match the reservation or card on file. We hope you find a hotel that better suits your needs.

Because we are a Historical Inn, our furniture is not "dated"; it is appropriate for the property and some is even original. We are sorry to hear that the stairs were an issue for you, but we make it a point to state on all booking engines that we are NOT handicap accessible, so we recommend that you research any property before booking. Our guests are guaranteed parking regardless of whether or not there is an event; parking is not first come, first served, and we are unaware where you obtained this information.

Hello Matthew We appreciate your stay at The Inn at 97 Winder. You are correct we are not ADA compliant since steps are required to access the building and our guest rooms. However, this is noted on all reservation forms, so we apologize if you did not have time to review our establishment before making a reservation. We are sorry if the temperature in your room was uncomfortable, however you did not report any concerns to the onsite staff, who could have provided immediate assistance.

Thank you for staying with us Connie, we appreciate reviews but do not condone slander. You arrived 3 hours before the check-in time, stated you were aware check in was at 4 but still decided to come and bang on our glass doors. You called ONE time and our on duty agent was upstairs putting away linen ( Unlike a chain hotel, we are innkeepers and have daily laundry and cleaning that needs to be done before incoming arrivals). The on site agent took 5 minutes ( We do have cameras if you need a reminder) after your one attempted phone call to come downstairs and answer the door and asked multiple times if you wanted to step in and you did which we also can show you. You did not once ask to leave luggage and were made aware of this policy including the check-in time policy in a message 72-hours before arrival and the morning of via text which you clearly ignored. We are always more than happy to give advice on places to eat but it is your responsibility to look further into the details of the restaurants. You are not entitled to an early check-in. You were told “ if your room is available before 4pm we will message you” - so we are so sorry you had to wait until 4PM which is the check-in time to check-in.Happy holidays.Front Desk.
