"Room was quiet and well appointed. Pool was heated. Five minutes walk to Terrigal Hotel which had nice meals. 15 to 20 minute walk to main Terrigal shops, restaurants and beach."
"What a beautiful spacious room, had everything we needed and with an amazing view to boot. Had a perfect stay and enjoyed the sunrises. Short walk to the beautiful heritage pool. Loved our stay"
"It’s a place to sleep. It would be fine for less money. The pictures are extremely misleading - kinda like real estate photos when the house is for sale, the reality is pretty grim by contrast. My room was a bit run down - shower screen dodgily replaced by a curtain so water goes all over the floor, carpet a bit stained, etc - but overall clean enough to be passable. Reception smells like stale ciggies. Staff friendly and helpful.
If you imagine it’s a cheap motel and ignore whatever you actually paid, it’s fine."
"Stay away from the “budget” rooms. You wont find any pictures of them, and for good reason. They are disgusting and depressing. Imagine a particularly horrible prison cell reserved for the worst kind of prisoner, and you wont be far off. Austere, dark and cramped. From the outside they look like the toilet block, and from the inside you'd wish you were staying in one instead.
We had to leave immediately upon entering and couldn't get a refund. But it was worth paying to NOT stay there."
"The room does need some renovation, the cistern needs to be replaced it has 2 cracks on the top, the screen door fell off when I tried to open it my husband put it back on the rails, the doona needs to be put in the bin had lots of stains on it, the carpet in the bedroom had a large big black stain, carpet needs to be steam cleaned, the kitchen had a smell which turned me off using anything in the kitchen, upon returning from going out there was always a musty smell throughout the apartment we had to open all the sliding doors to get the smell out, the large wrap around balcony was good but outdoor furniture particularly the chairs need to be replaced. Within walking distance of the restaurants and beach, can’t say I would stay there again."
