"Traditional stay in beautiful room & hotel. As non Japanese speakers the staff tried really hard with Google translate to communicate with us which was appreciated. Food was delicious & different each day. The garden view from the rooms & dining area were lovely. The only minor complaint was the hard Japanese style pillow which seemed to be full of rice or some kind of grain??? We tried to embrace it as part of the experience! Great location, can walk everywhere and/or there is a bus stop...

"The guesthouse is close to the station and easy to find. The place is small but the lounge is very cosy and feels like an actual living room. I stayed in a 'open plan bedroom' on the first floor. If you don't mind having less privacy it actually feels like the lounge is part of your room, which was great for me at least. It felt like having a studio apartment. Overall nice and clean."
