"For the price, perhaps a cold shower, no toilet paper and power sockets hanging off the wall is to be expected. The place was clean and in a reasonable location. Promise, the manager, was friendly during checking in, but sadly absent when required later on. This was important as another guest had an argument over the phone... shouting from around 9pm until 2.30am and resuming again at 7am. Asking repeatedly to cease had no effect and the hotel staff failed to intervene. It's a shame really as...

"After reading how in the ghetto's in Africa, you have to be careful if you are white. We decided it was near airport as stated, but in a shanty town that was with even driving 10 minutes off the main road. There were no restaurants near, if we went out, we would have had to have an escort. The young woman in charge looked at us as if we were strange due to the fact, after seeing the location, we backed out of staying in the motel. It was the best home or business in the area that we saw. But...

"I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel it’s important to share my experience at Tommy’s Budget Rooms. Upon arrival, I was first given the wrong room, which had a broken shower and exposed electrical cables something that felt extremely unsafe. The bed was in very poor condition, with an unpleasant smell, and the towels provided were old and worn out. Loud music played until 4:30 a.m., making it impossible to sleep. When I approached the receptionist, he explained that he had no authority...
