"This is a hidden gem.Nor right in the centre of Skipton but only a few minutes walk.Lovly welcome on arrival.Quick and efficient check-in.Very secure accomodation as you needed a key to enter in the evenings A lovely lady took us to the room.Absolutley spotless.Tea and coffee making facilities and nice biscuits!!One of the comfiest beds I've ever slept in and the cleanest most well ironed sheets I've ever seen.When we went down to breakfast we were greeted and offered tea or coffee. "My friend and I stayed here this weekend due to attending a festival nearby. The stable rooms are absolutely lovely, so comfortable, beautiful bathroom and lovely bed! We even had horses in stables next to us which was a lovely view to wake up too. The self serve breakfast room was so cute and had everything you could really ask for including fresh fruit, milk, breads and pastries. Will be returning with my partner for sure!"

"Stay in a working monastery! The buildings and extensive grounds are superb. The grounds and gardens are well tended, and make for an extremely pleasant stroll. The place oozes character and makes a memorable visit. All this on the outskirts of Huddersfield. The rooms are basic but clean. Breakfast is only "continental", offering cereals, muesli, yoghurt, plenty of fresh bread for toast and lots of strong filter coffee. The staff are friendly and welcoming."
