" We spent five nights in the petite apartment, which is beautiful, spacious and very well equipped. Lovely gardens, swimming pool and a braai. The maintenance and cleaning is to a very high standard, WiFi worked well. It’s well located in a quiet / safe area, pleasant walk to an abundance of great restaurants, cafes and wine bars. Highly recommend a visit, we’ll be back!"

"There was a problem with communication about the property. I was never told about the power outage and also the property did not have AC system in all rooms. Some of the doors were bad and were never fixed and this was the same complaint for past reviews. The host did not care too much. We were checked in late and were not even compensated for the check out. They had "I do not care" attitude. It is a beautiful property but a terrible host."

"The Valley lodge is Excellent in respect of amenities, safety, restaurants, the staff at the restaurants and lodge are helpful. The food at the restaurant was excellent as well. The host was attentive to our needs and request all the time. She really deserves 5 stars ✹. The Valley lodge really lives up to its name."

"The facilities at this property were very minimal for what is offered as a furnished holiday let. A salt and pepper set would have been nice. We had flat 2 which is not air conditioned but an air-conditioning unit outside our suite was noisy and disturbing."

TvĂ„ badrum med bĂ„de dusch och separat badkar samt ytterligare en toalett med vask. Ett större rum med tv och ett rum avsett för lek/trĂ€ning. VĂ€lutrustat kök. Stora sĂ€llskapsytor bĂ„de ute och inne. Perfekt med pool. Dock sĂ„ var den inte rengjord nĂ€r vi kom men vi pĂ„talade genast detta och det Ă„tgĂ€rdades. Även stĂ€dningen kunde varit nĂ„got bĂ€ttre men i det stora hela...

"Great cottage, everything you need for a relaxing stay, had issues with loadshedding getting hot water, but this was not the fault of the guesthouse, they made arrangements for us to use another bathroom in the main house. Excellent hosts, checking we was ok, such a friendly place to stay, we will be back, we loved it for a weekend away. Thank you "
