"The rooms are beautifully presented and the amenities were really nice. For a travel stop it was very convenient and the staff are friendly. The carpets in the rooms are suffering from wear and tear and could do with a better clean. The rooms needs a bit more of a clean in general. The shower also started dripping in both rooms (which were at other ends of the property) at around 3am which woke us up. "This is a very quirky old building! We used this property as an overnight stay prior to a flight and it was just perfect for what we needed, we didn’t arrive until about 9pm so didn’t have food but had a couple of drinks in the bar and very short distance to the airport in the morning. Also unlike some of the chain hotels we looked at there was no fee for overnight parking at the hotel. Would definitely recommend and use this hotel again!"

Sadly, we went during the heatwave, and our room was so hot- hotter than our teen's room by at least 2-3 degrees Celsius.
