"Excellent simple accommodation with shared bathroom. Extremely clean, warm and relatively quiet (for an old building). No notification of door key code as promised but staff resident so no issues with 21:00 check-in. Would definitely stay again."

"This is a converted pub with an Indian Restaurant on the ground floor. Food very good cooked to taste, no breakfast offered/available. Rooms clean but dated. TV not tuned in, only BBC channels available. Good shower/bathroom. "

"I had a very nice stay at the Open Arms Hotel. The staff were very welcoming and made me feel at home. The room was first class with a view over the village green and very comfortable. The lounge area with the open fire is lovely and relaxing being able to have a pre- dinner drink and review the menu. It was a very enjoyable stay and will definitely be returning again in the very near future."

"Fantastic 5 night stay at the Dunclutha guest house.Big room and a comfortable bed private bathroom also very tasty homemade shortbread in room to enjoy with a cup of tea.Breakfast was of the highest quality and plenty of it.Very convenient location.Would definately return on future visits to leven.TOP TIP If you are a hiker base yourself here for a few nights and use the frequent bus service to get along the coast.Great value Highly recommend."

"Fantastic location with lovely views of the East Lothian countryside. Lovely time just sitting, watching the Highland Cows. Accommodation is spotless with everything you need. Owner is so helpful. Highly recommend if you want to get away from it all and just slow down for a few days."

"Comfortable bed, room, excellent food, friendly staff. Just parking was difficult, had a 5 minute walk from the nearest free parking up the hill. Also maybe breakfast was a bit late at 8am. This is nit picking though, would stay there again and recommend it to others "

"I cannot recommend this place enough. My husband and I booked on a whim to be close to St Andrews without St Andrews prices. Upon first glance my husband thought I was crazy, he assumed it would be run down, and not offer much because it was not in the city center. He sure changed his tune on that once we checked in.
