"For breakfast the first items we ordered were all unavailable. Asked if they could sub bacon for sausage on an egg sandwich was told. Asked if they could make a bacon egg and cheese sandwich and was told no, we need to order the bacon, egg and toast breakfast and assemble into a sandwich ourselves. Fine, but the bacon was very burnt and I ended up throwing away (and I love crispy bacon!). I also like a nice runny yolk, but the egg white was runny and raw. Restaurant sounded delicious but was dinner was poorly executed. Had to take my husband somewhere else to get something more edible than the overcooked burger (he sent it back, and it was taking forever to remake so we finally cancelled after everyone else had been sitting finished with their meals for a long time). Kids grilled cheese was burnt - how hard is that to get right?? Not at all 21c quality I would expect. The rooms were nice but it was very odd. The first night only one of the two beds had a comforter, and when we asked the front desk they sent a very scratchy thin blanket. The next day we had no washcloths. Third day, housekeeping removed our toilet paper and we had to ask for some to be sent up. Fourth day we asked to get ice before we left and they said they would bring some but it never came. We liked the pool but there were no towels available down there - lots of shelves that are supposed to have towels but they were always empty. The floor in and out was always slippery as a result."

"The room was clean and roomy. Bed was comfortable. The breakfast was exceptional. Cook to order omelets, sausage and gravy as well as the usually fare. Restaurants within walking distance. Overall a very nice hotel and service."

"Pool and hot tub were both gross and smelled. Was hardly any food for breakfast. There were only scrambled eggs for that looked dry, so had to settle for cereal…"

"We only stayed one night but we enjoyed the breakfast. The omelet bar was excellent. Our only negative was the evening reception. The snacks were very minimal and nearly gone after the first 30 minutes. Options were potato chips, pretzels, Chex mix. Other than that, everything was great. Very friendly staff!!"
