"The resort is decent, but definitely is in need of some TLC. At one time this must have been a top notch place to stay, but everything is looking a little tired. The staff is friendly and they do keep the grounds manicured and in good condition. The food is decent with good portions and reasonably priced. The beach and ocean was the highlight of our stay. We were able to walk for hours along the beach. "
"Hotel Santa Maria is a great budget option for being close to the action but not paying a ton for the privilege. The beach is a 10 minute walk. The brand new Al Comer super market complex is just across the street and has more than you will ever need. There are numerous small restaurants within a three minute walk. The pool is clean spacious and welcoming. Overall a good deal. My only criticism would be that screens on the patio doors would be an improvement and the coffee at the breakfast room needs an upgrade. "
"Clean and well appointed room. Most are upstairs I believe. The balcony had a lovely view of the sea. Fridge, microwave, tv wifi, a couple chairs and a lovely bathroom. At a reasonable price. An easy walk to the beach. Our two small dogs enjoyed, too. And The restaurant and food were great. A definite win. "
