Perfectly adequate for a short overnight

This location & quality was adequate for a very brief stay as an overnight stop to rest before leaving early the next morning. Safe, secure & convenient for interstate travel. A bit run down & dingy. Room smelled a bit. Breakfast was acceptable and worked as a quick bite/grab & go.

A Good Value

The owners and staff are always so friendly, it’s quiet, and the rooms are clean. Not a lot of extra amenities, but that’s not what I’m looking for. I travel alone but feel safe here. There’s a respectable continental breakfast every morning. I stay here a couple times a year when visiting family.

Price was low so I didn’t expect much; bed was comfortable and well made. No elevator; internet connection was poor; no news channels available on TV (on election night!); don’t think the south central Asian attendant understood English well; miles from laundry facilities and decent restaurants (although McDonald’s is close by.)

Easy On-Off from I-94 and Clean Room with New HVAC Unit for both heating and cooling. Continental Breakfast just OK, but I understood that when I selected a Hotel to stay solely based on price. Since I was only driving long distance, checked in at 11PM and was out by 10AM, it worked out fine.

The service was fine, very cordial. The hotel was run down and the bathroom was not exactly clean, there was hair on the towels. I wouldn't really recommend it, while it was less expensive than other hotels, the value of the stay didn't equal the cost.

Definitely a dated building. Not sure how safe this area is. Room was clean. My bigfest disappointment is the continental breakfast was pretty lacking. No bagels, muffins, danishes, ice or water. There is a waffle maker which id normally appreciate, but no time for that this time. We ended up eating somewhere else.

Nice but odd

The room was surprisingly large. It was clean. The odor of the building was quite strong with cleaning products, not in a pleasant way. The room was clean and the floor was clean. The bed was quite comfortable. I would stay again. I did find the stairs to be quite creepy. I have not been on such a tight staircase. The wall was lined with plexiglass which was interesting but added to the creepy feeling.

The hallway carpeting and walls were worn and tired looking, but the room itself was clean, updated and comfortable (other than the carpeting feeling a bit grimy, but I find that in most motel rooms... I always have flip flops at the ready). Friendly front desk people, though one of them spoke very little English and I had some trouble communicating. My biggest issue was that the walls don't completely keep out the noise from adjacent rooms... I was awoken at 4am by talking, giggling people in the room next door. I turned on my room fan and that pretty much took care of it. All in all, not a bad stay for the price. Again, the room itself was clean, well appointed and comfortable

The property is old. Bathroom sink moldy. Heating/cooling unit was not working properly. Could not open window. Noisy hallways. We have stayed at super 8s before and found them to be clean and up to date. After this experience I will think twice. Using this app did not allow for refund or we definitely would not have stayed at this property. Won’t book through here again!

Room ice cold with broken heater. Desk clerk unavailable until I called him to check in. We refused room because it was too cold (50 degrees) but he charged us $20 for a dog friendly room even though we didn’t stay there. Would not refund the $20. We went to a different hotel!
