"We could not fault our one night stay, the welcome on arival, the comfort of the room, the evening meal and breakfast, the friendliness of the staff were all first class. Our dog was really spoilt with attention and a bag of treats including a ball. A wonderful place to break a journey between north and south. "

"We had a “new” room that was beautiful with a stunning bathroom. One thing could be better…a full-length mirror for the ladies. Breakfast was top class and dinner was also superb though our server was a bit random and forgot a second glass of wine. But the manager recovered very well by delivering at no cost! Location is good especially for a stop-over close to the M6."
