"The room was cleanish .. could use improvement Our door had a large gap in it that was not great with 100 degree temperatures The shower had great pressure and temperature but it was very low and close to wall I am only 5’7 and couldn’t stand under The service/internet is absolutely awful I am pretty sure this is a hotel that is more for long term people living there … there were chairs and grills … personal plants all over the walk ways"

"The staff was great, they hadnt cleaned the room when we got there. They jumped right in and got the room ready for us. The room was clean the bed was comfortable and clean, The room was really great, looked like time had taken its toll on the room, but, we figured its a older Motel, but still was comfortable. The only thing that was needing care, was the floor, it needed to have been swept and mopped, but still a clean room, and will stay there again."

"With all the great reviews, I was expecting it to be immaculate and well maintained. That was not my experience. It was very comfortable and relatively clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Full disclosure, my opinion could be slightly skewed because, for some reason, I thought the place was much closer to Effingham - but it was 45 minutes away adding an extra hour and a half to my trip. But that is NOT the hotel’s fault - I just didn’t check all the details closely enough on Expedia. But...

"Well I gave good reviews but went to book on expedia and said rooms were all booked which we been staying off and on quite a bit lately, I get rewards so I use them of course I earned them, owner kept saying if u pay in cash I will give it to u for 55.00 but only cash, well why would I do that if I can use my rewards and get it for 37.00 well guess he didn't like us still booking on line put his rooms all booked, so I call yep he has room, I said ok I tried booking online but showed all booked,...
