"Pro: nothing
Con: dirty carpet. Air-conditioning had a bad odor. Bedspread was dirty. Sheets and towels stained. Found bug on one of the beds and worm like in picture frame."
"Staff seems pretty light, everytime we went to the desk we had to wait several minutes with no idea when they were coming back. Tried to call the front desk and the line would just hang up. Thr elevator looks super sketch, definitely could use a coat of paint at minimum. Our room was good, but something is going on with the heating system. Woke us up every hour because it sounded like somebody was trying to break into our room."
"I didn't like the "silent fan" in the bathroom. If you're just chilling and watching TV, you can hear poots, piddles, and splashes. Also, the bathroom vent is connected to the neighboring bathroom so you can hear whatever they're doing in the bathroom: shower, flushing, talking, baby crying, sneezing (I almost said bless you through the vent lol).
Clean room. The pillows are fluffy but aren't the most comfortable. Good mattresses.
Hotel lobby coffee and tea selection was decent and available 24/7. In-room coffee machines are available upon request.
Breakfast was good. The bacon was the thinnest I've ever seen, almost like prosciutto. No waffles, but an interesting little pancake conveyer.
Pool was closed for cleaning/chemical maintenance. It's small for a hotel this size.
Desk staff and housekeepers were kind and helpful.
I'd stay here again if I wasn't so curious about some of the other hotels/motels in the area."
"Not well kept. Stayed 5 nights, no towels, no trash, no cleaning, no service. Much more rustic than then cities show. Continental breakfast is a joke. Seems to be a lot of “full time” residents just hanging around the place. If you’re looking for a rustic stay in Marquette, look also where. This place is just run down."
