"A family business run by Himmel. The property sits right next to Bentota Lagoon. There is a daily shuttle to and from the beach. The accommodation is in a block of two floors. The rooms are clean and spacious with plenty of storage space and a large furnished patio or balcony overlooking the pool and lagoon. The rooms are kept very clean by very friendly staff. "The gentleman was very kind and flexible. We had to catch a train early in the morning and he served great breakfast for us at 6am although it was supposed to be between 7-9am. We appreciate his hospitality! "

"Fantastic hotel. Beautiful rooms, lovely property, friendly and effective staff. The location just outside Galle Fort is perfect, a short walk or even shorter tuk tuk ride up the hill and the peace and sanctuary of historic Sun House. Just wish we could have stayed longer."
