"We enjoyed the suite, it was a surprise that we didn’t expect. The doors to the underground parking garage were locked we couldn’t access the elevator. We thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful breakfast, didn’t expect it to be a hot breakfast with so many options, that was awesome! Finally, loved the decaffeinated coffee, fresh ground while you wait that was another unexpected surprise that was awesome as well!! Thank you very much!"

"I needed this room in a pinch because my mom was in the hospital. The pricing was reasonable, the staff were extremely helpful, the room was clean and I was so close to my mom. I will definitely be staying here again and even suggested it to my step father for this evening."

"Beautiful, well maintained historic hotel. Turn down service. They sent someone to make up the pullout in our room. This spot is one of the only nice hotels in the area, far surpasses the Marriott’s and Hilton’s on the highway, and a certain lakeside resort nearby that charges double should be skipped at all costs."

"I had help checking in at 1 am which can be impossible at small inns like this. The room was great and had an awesome view of the river out back. It was easy to check in and out. We had continental breakfast in the morning. It was great except that the waffle mix ran out, but we got there less than a half an hr before breakfast was over so that was probably why. The only other thing I didnt like so much was the suttle smell inside the room. They could definitely use some air fresheners to keep it smelling better."

"First of all, this is an OLD and HISTORIC property! If that’s your vibe this place is great. If you’re on the fence or not into it, not the place for you. Even though it’s old, it is VERY clean! I was impressed with the cleanliness of everything there."

"The person at the desk was neither friendly or helpful at arrival. There were no clean towels offered until requested after several days. There was a parking fee which was not disclosed when making reservation. Due to emergency no time to make reservation through optional channels. Thus, the Rest Easy option for reduced rate was denied due to third party booking. Not offered a receipt at checkout for the same reason. Under different circumstances I would have changed hotels. For future stays I will seriously consider that."
