"This hotel was perfect for our needs. We needed someplace close to UC Davis to attend Picnic Day. The only requirements were less than a 30 minute drive (it was 15 including parking and walking to the alumni center), someplace clean & safe, and inexpensive. A breakfast would be a plus. Check in was easy! In fact I arrived 2 hours early and the room was ready for me. The room was spotless and we felt very safe. The staff was very helpful and kind. The pool area needs a little updating. The water was icy and the surface of the pool is peeling. But I was able to sit in the sun and read a book before the rest of the party arrived. It was nice after a long drive. I was concerned about noise since the hotel is right next to the freeway off ramp. But our room was on the other side of the building. And the noise from the McDonald's drive through was not an issue. Breakfast was just muffins and coffee. There is no elevator in this 3 story building. The bath towels are thin and small but this was remedied with an extra set. And another thing to know is the walls are very thin in the hotel. And during our stay guests were not respectful (not the hotel's fault). One night at 3 AM a father was yelling a crying child and at 6 AM someone let their dog run loose down the hallway barking all the way. Will I stay here again? Maybe. For this trip, cost was the deciding factor."

"Nice enough. Check in still has COVID sneeze guards. Freeway noise in our room on third floor near the middle of the building got worse in the morning. Pool was not clean, but it's still pretty cold in Spring. Lots of parking including for trailers. Cheap and cheerful."
