"We found a very good deal on our room through Hotels.com, so overall we were pleased with our stay. The resort grounds are beautiful, and the golf course looks like it would challenge even experienced golfers.
We stayed in a studio room, which was quite small and overlooked the parking lot instead of the golf course. We didn't realize that until we arrived. While the room was very clean, the furnishings and décor were a bit dated.
We also dined at the resort restaurant. The setting was beautiful, and our waitress was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the food wasn't as impressive as the atmosphere.
Despite those minor drawbacks, we would definitely stay at Meadow Lake Resort again. Next time, we would spend a little extra for a room with a golf course view, and we'd return to the restaurant for appetizers and a cold drink while enjoying the scenery.
