"Good hotel overall. However, for a 40 room hotel, they really need to have someone at the reception 24/7 because after 11 pm there is nobody there to open doors or support guests in case of emergencies. There is an emergency number but that is not always useful for travellers who don’t have local calling."

"The pros: good location. Staff are generally helpful, if not overly friendly. The hotel is clean and spacious. The breakfast buffet is quite good, and the buffet dinner if you have it is not bad value at €22 for all you can eat and it’s not bad quality. The beds are comfortable. The cons: room is very spartan, didn’t even have a kettle, which we had to request from the reception, fortunately they had one left. "The best thing about this hotel is the lakeside club which is across the road and offers a relaxed swimming and loungers. Our room was dark and was tired. The carpet was fraying and there were no facilities other than water. It was quite noisy being close to the road and did not match the images on the website. The building and courtyards are unique and interesting historically and the breakfast was very good. A mixed review for a mixed experience."
