"Freshly cleaned rooms everyday with fresh linens. The hotel was lightly dated but obviously well cared for with staff and owners taking good care of it. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and parking was excellent. The free coffee wasn’t just good because it was free coffee it was very high quality as well. I will be coming back."

"Good for a one night late stay. Probably wouldn’t recommend more than that. Property was well maintained but showing plenty signs of age. Funny smells and old aged carpet in hallways. Rooms are clean for what they are age wise, but definitely in need of a renovation. Staff was polite and helpful,"

"The smell was absolutely horrible - and it lingers on everything I had with me on the trip. Carpets were filthy & stained. Comforter & blankets had numerous old cigarette burns all over them. Mattress VERY old and worn out. There was a wooden block under my bed holding the middle of the sagging bed up. The upholstered chair was covered in stains. "Staying here is like stepping back in time to a more elegant and refined era. The house is filled with antiques and has been decorated with great taste. It has a wonderful sitting area downstairs, and the bedrooms are whimsical and delightful. The breakfasts far exceeded my expectations. Maybe best thing of all is the proprietor, Holland. She is warm, engaging and thoroughly charming. My wife and I hope to have reasons to visit Spokane, again, soon, so we can stay here, again. "

"The facility was older but clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was satisfactory, but the bathroom was in poor shape. The bathtub had some type of epoxy like they use on boats all over the bottom of the tub. It was bumpy and peeling. The bathtub was very uninviting. I contemplated not showing because it looked like the stuff on the tub would come off. I would definitely not take a bath."
