However we were disappointed with the room. Supposedly a Deluxe room, there was very little luxury. Bare minimum of toiletries and tea and coffee. No homely or luxurious touches. No where to hang wet towels etc. Think less first class cabin and more boiler room grunge. To be frank we could have been in a Premier Inn. The hotel is situated...

"This hotel is generally fine, but big. Expensive. Impersonal. The hotel treats its guests differently. There was a group of tourist allowed to eat continental breakfast at 7.00 am on Saturday, we were sent away to come back at 7.30, which was too late for us for the flight home. Different rules for different guests."

"Good common area with lots of space to hangout/do work/eat. Free coffee machine in the common area. Although the weather was very mild during my stay, the room was quite warm. No A/C or fans. Cracking the window helped a bit, but there are a handful of bars nearby and it's a busy street. Street noise was a big negative. Lots of young folk out very late, drunk, and loud."

"Great location, near City Hall and the Grand Central Station. Walkable to most of the sights that I was interested in...St. Georges Market, Maritime Mile, Cathedral Quarter. Close access to bus system. The room was clean and comfortable. My only wish would be for a hot water pot to make tea in the evening. The cafe downstairs had good food and was so convenient for a meal or a snack."

"My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Flint! Check-in was very easy and the staff was always available and were so friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, comfortable, clean and stylish. It really was a great home base for our exploration of the city. While there was no on-site parking there was a large parking garage just down the street and since the garage and the hotel both have elevators it was easy to transport our luggage back and forth.
