"Stravithie castle is an opportunity to experience something quite unique and special. The welcome included a brief tour of David’s home and interesting information about the previous owners. This was in addition to being shown our own accommodation which was spacious and comfortable. David’s dog was a most welcoming host too! "The room was nice other than being on the 3rd floor with no elevator and two twin beds instead of a king. The check in is different, you go to the pub next door and they check you in and the young man carried our bags up and down the stairs. The area is perfect and the pub is a great place to hangout after a round. "

"Staying at Cambo is an unforgettable experience. When everyone else goes home, you get to stay and wander the beautiful grounds and spend the night in one of the historic rooms. The service is wonderful, the breakfast is huge and delicious (get the porridge!), and the bed was comfortable. I also loved being able to go for run through the property and directly to the sea in the morning! "
