Friendly staff, free parking, a good-sized room, a very nice breakfast and lovely dinner in the hotel's restaurant. The only things missing were a lift and a kettle in the room. We would definitely include The Empereur in our next Corsica road trip.

Really nice hotel - the room was spotless clean, the staff were friendly and attentive. Great location too - close to supermarkets, local bakeries and other amenities, as well as the nicest beaches of the south. This was a superb hotel as a base for our 5 night trip. Although situated just outside the main town it is excellent value for money whilst offering a high standard. The rooms are extremely spacious and the whole of the hotel is modern, airy and welcoming. The restaurant is situated on the top floor with lovely views of the mountains and the breakfast offering was plentiful and delicious. Beautiful and comfortable old country house with lovely garden in an area with amazing scenery. Lovely views of the lake and close to a cute village. Restaurants and cafes closed until Easter in small villages. Great area for hiking in the summer. Owner excellent communicator. Good continental breakfast. Highly recommend. Many thanks

Happy friendly reception staff. Escorted to room shown features. Spotless crisp beautiful laundered sheets. Kitchen had everything we needed, would be adequate for long stay. Little balcony lovely views of the bay. Only down side was noise of guests using the bungalows below.

What a gem! The lady at reception was exceptionally kind and helpful on arrival and upgraded our room to include kitchen facilities which was extremely helpful to our family. Staff were all amazing helping us with everything from parking to planning our 2 day hikes to suit our family. Great central location everything you need on the doorstep. Thank you.

Beautiful place and location wish we could have stayed a lot longer. We did have an issue with ant’s coming in the shower but was manageable. Would love to comeback in the future.
