"•Nice size room for 2 people (1 king bed). •Full kitchen with full size fridge. Would be great for an extended stay. Kitchen is well stocked if you wanted to cook and eat in your room. •TV was very small, and hard to see from the bed because it was so far away. I suppose if you sat in the tiny uncomfortable "couch" you would be closer to the TV. •We were on the ground floor and could hear the people above us walking around all the time. Luckily we weren't in the room enough for it to bother us too much. •You can hear people outside the room very clearly. Our neighbors were up and outside at 0630am and were very loud, even with just talking we could hear it clear as day in our room. •The breakfast buffet was amazing. Great food choices (eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries, hash browns, pancakes, yogurt, pastries/breads, etc). Everything was always well stocked. •My only complaint, and the reason I would not choose this hotel again, is that they charge a daily fee for parking. This hotel isn't downtown, or exceptionally close to anything. You have to jump on the 40 to get to NAU (or anything else, really). There isn't a whole lot around, so to charge a daily fee for parking is a deal breaker for me. There are lots of choices in Flag to stay, and none of them charge you parking."

"Room was neat and clean. Staff was very helpful with parking. We didn't realize it was Tequila Sunrise the night we stayed amd was very noisy. Other than that a great stay!!!"
High Country Motor Lodge – Near NAU/Downtown

"Overall this is a great place to stay for a night or two! The lobby bar was really nice and had an excellent espresso martini & live band. The staff were all super nice and helpful. The only downside was that there were tons of families with young children running around/screaming throughout the entire evening and into the night in the main courtyard area. I unfortunately also had a severe allergic reaction to the bedding my room and was unable to spend the complete night and left. I would say if you were traveling with family or friends, it's great. If you are planning a romantic weekend or quiet, it's probably not ideal."
