Angenehme Pension in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Dom! Perfekt um die Stadt zu Fuß zu erkunden. Einziges Manko sind spätabends und frühmorgens die Straßenverkäufer und Zulieferer für die Geschäfte, die einiges an Lärm verursachen. Zimmer hatte nur Dusche und ansonsten eine Gemeinschaftstoilette, die aber in einem Top-Zustand war.

Pensión limpia y con excelente ubicación. Sencilla
El personal de la pensión fue muy amable. El hecho de tener el baño fuera de la habitación, fue un punto desfavorable. Habitación muy pequeña para dos camas. Una sola llave para dos personas fue un inconveniente. No se puede llegar más tarde que la 1am.

The people were really nice and the location was excellent, great view, very clean room and bathroom. Only slightly odd thing was that the double bed was two single mattresses put together.

Great stay in the city center
Really friendly staff who made us feel welcomed during our stay. The hotel is nice and our room was very spacious and had a great view of Gioto's bell tower. Just take in account that it's in an old building, so there is no lift, but its only a couple of flights of stairs.

Prijs en prima verblijf
we hebben hier 2 nachten gebleven. Pensione Canada is geschikt voor een kort verblijf. Wij worden vriendlijk ontvangen door de gastvrouw (heet Tina). Geen ontbijt en de pensione heft geen lift. Locatie is erg central, dichtbij alles.

hôtel très bien placé super accueil
accueil très sympathique par une personne parlant très bien le Français. La chambre était très propre et l'hôtel très bien placé près du coeur historique de la ville. Notre séjour a été parfait; seul bémol la hauteur des marches à monter .

Convenient to sights
Room was sparse but quite adequate for sightseeing and sleep. Absolutely no extras. Hostess was nice and helpful with directions. Great room for the price

Great price, super clean and awesome location
The lady that works there/owner is a super nice person! She is just so lovely we loved our stay in florence in that hote! The pice is super cheap and it is right beside the duomo the rooms are very clean as well!

No está orientado a dar buen servicio al cliente
Podría ser el mejor sitio para hospedarse pero hay 4 cosas que no me parecieron correctas: no hay wifi (lo cual es imposible de creer en estos tiempos), no puedes dejar las maletas el día que te marchas después de las 13 horas), te obligan a dejar las llaves y no puedes volver después de la 1am porque no hay nadie que te abra la puerta y finalmente la persona que regenta la pensión parece que trabaja todo el día, nosotros llegamos de noche y estaba cansada, tuvimos un problema con la tarjeta y tras mostrarse desagradable le dije que no podía hablarnos así que éramos los clientes y amenazo con cancelar la reserva, habrá sido el cansancio pero la forma en que nos habló no fue la correcta. Por éstas razones no volveré a este lugar.

Ho soggiornato per due notti in questa struttura e devo dire che alla fine è andato tutto molto bene. Ubicato in maniera eccezionale a due passi dal duomo. La signora è super gentile e per qualsiasi cosa potete chiedere a lei. La colazione o cena non sono incluse, ma la proprietaria saprà indicarvi dove andare senza pagare molto. Attenzione all'orario di rientro previsto in albergo (ore 1:00).

Great location, very clean
We loved our stay here and would stay again if we ever came back to Florence. The location was perfect. It was easy to find and walk to from the train station, the duomo is literally just down the road. There are shops/markets/supermarket all close by. We didn't take any public transport and walked everywhere, it was great. We went for the shared bathroom option but also having our own sink in our room which I would suggest if you are going for the shared bathroom option. The room was big and very clean. The shared bathroom was clean and didn't really have to wait much for it to be available. After reading the reviews we were prepared to expect: no wifi (we had data on our phone anyway), no air con but there is a fan which was fine for us (we stayed in August and it was hot), lots of stairs to get up and take your suitcase, 1am curfew, no tv but we were hardly there, some noise from the street but to be expected being that close in the city, you have to pay cash and hand the keys to her when you leave each day but we found this safe, they have cameras around as well so felt safe being here. I'd recommend this place!

Una splendida vacanza, la proprietaria dell'hotel è stata davvero gentilissima e disponibilissima! Hotel centralissimo, ma allo stesso tempo comodo per raggiungere la stazione a piedi e con bagaglio a seguito. Io ho preso una matrimoniale con bagno esterno privato e mi sono trovata benissimo!

Sistemazione congeniale a chi vuole visitare molto il centro senza perdere tempo negli spostamenti, spedendo poco. La signora è stata molto gentile e disponibile.

La propriétaire est une femme charmante, adorable et attentionnée. Nous vous recommandons vivement sa pension tenue avec le plus grand soin. Elle particulièrement attentive à vos besoins et d'une extrême gentillesse. Je suis tombée malade pendant le voyage et elle nous a offert ses services à maintes reprises et nous a toujours conseiller avec le plus grand soin. Les chambres sont confortables et propres, les salles de bains performances et le quartier est particulièrement sympathique puisque nous nous trouvons à deux pas du duomo. Nous vous recommandons vivement la pension Canada car nous y avons passé un merveilleux séjour et nous nous y sommes sentis comme chez nous a l'aide de la propriétaire.

NIGHTMARE!!!
We were traveling for more than 3 weeks around Italy. NEVER experienced something like that!!! Pro's first 1.) location. Very central to everything. 2.) that's it Cons: 1.) impolite owner. 2.) misleading details on website. 3.) very noisy - no chance to sleep 4.) no air-condition - no chance to sleep, fan too loud 5.) no privacy - they came in our room, touch and moved our personal stuff Still reading? OK now details to the cons. To 1.) rude behavior because we asked for free parking because on their website they claim that they have garage. Answer from her. This is florence. Means for us 50 euros extra. To 2.) no garage, no air-condition, no WiFi. When you book Private bathroom you have to go through a public space in order to get to your "private" bathroom. No chance to enter hotel after 1am. You need to sleep on the street.

Pensione Canada est parfaitement situé pour visiter Florence à pied! La chambre était propre et le personnel est très serviable et accueillant. La salle de bain commune est grande et propre. J'ai apprécié mon séjour à Pensione Canada. Il n'y a toutefois pas de wifi et de climatisation.

Tirando o toque de recolher, que não foi um grande problema, mas que poderia nos deixar um pouco mais tranquilos com relação ao horário. A falta de wi-fi para planejamentos do dia seguinte, foi um pouco ruim. tínhamos que ficar na janela, pegando a wi-fi gratuita de Firenze.

at the heart of historic Florence
Great location: Duomo is just around the corner, less than 10min walk to train station, 5-7 min to Accademia, Palazzo Vechio, Ufizzi. Safe neighborhood, super clean hotel and room! I walked barefooted-- it is so clean! Shared bathroom was not a problem, never crowded, never a line (one BR for 3 rooms). Shower cabin is small, but on the 3rd day you get used to it!Towels and soap/shower gel provided. 1am curfew didn't bother me. What I would really appreciate: WiFi and coffee maker in the room ( lack of those 2 things was somewhat uncomfortable). However, there is WIFI just downstairs next door restaurant and nice coffee shop just across the street at the corner. Overall, nice place!

Admittedly my wife and l were somewhat apprehensive as we ascended 2 flights of concrete stairs although it went away as we entered the common area and we're greeted by a very welcoming host. We immediately noticed that our room and it's bathroom were a good size and very clean. In terms of a Pensione this hotel is excellent. It is located in the heart of the tourist area. My wish list would be for the management to install a quality WiFi system as even data access is very poor within the hotel. Some travelers may prefer TVS in the rooms.

Schöne Unterkunft gleich neben dem Dom
Wir wohnten nur eine Nacht in dieser Unterkunft. Das Zimmer war gross und schön. Leider war das Bad nicht gerade neben dem Zimmer. Die Dame am Empfang war sehr zuvorkommend und wir durften unser Gepäck nach dem auschecken bis am Abend in der Pension stehen lassen.

Excellent stay
Hostess was wonderful, frendly and always ready to help. Prime location, downtown, just few meters from Duomo. We got a room with private bathroom recently renovated. The room was recently painted and had a window facing an internal mini-court, very quiet. The room was spacious but sparsly furnished. Shower drain did not work well. Overall and excellent stay.

Location is great, right around the corner from the Duomo, BUT noisy ALL night long with restaurants and drunks in the street to all hours. The first night they also decided to pump septic tanks all along the street starting at 4 AM. Smell and noise was atrocious.

We had a very nice stay in Florence. The woman who ran the Hotel was nice enough but a very controlling person. She ran it more like a kid hostel. You had to buzz to get in, give your key to her to leave. If you wanted to come and go you felt as if it was a big bother to her. She was a bit irritable.

Einfach ausgestattetes, aber sehr gepflegtes Hotel
Sehr schönes helles und geräumiges Zimmer in ruhiger Innenhoflage. Von einem der Fenster lässt sich sogar ein Blick auf den Glockenturm des Florentiner Doms heischen! Entsprechend der Kategorie war das Zimmer sehr einfach, jedoch zweckmäßig ausgestattet: großes Doppelbett mit offenem Fußende (ideal für große Leute!), Kleiderschrank, Fließwasser (Waschbecken). Das eigentliche Badezimmer (Dusche, WC, Waschbecken) ist über den Flur erreichbar und wird mit weiteren Gästen geteilt. Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt! Einzige kleinere Wermutstropfen: A) Geringer Wasserdruck sowohl in der Dusche als auch in dem Waschbecken auf dem Zimmer. Ein richtig warmes und ausgiebiges Duschen erwies sich leider als unmöglich. B) Da wir uns (in dieser Zimmerkategorie) Dusche und WC mit einigen anderen Gästen teilen mussten, kam es mitunter zu etwas längeren Wartezeiten. Etwas ungünstig, wenn man in Eile ist. Fazit: Ein schönes gepflegtes und ruhiges Altstadthotel für Leute, denen eine gute Lage wichtiger ist als der Schnickschnack eines Viersternehotels und die mit den genannten kleineren Einschränkungen (die sich natürlich aus der gebuchten Kategorie ergeben!) leben können. Wir fanden unseren Aufenthalt toll und würden dort erneut buchen.

Daycare for adults!
This was legitimately the closest experience to jail I ever had. There is a 1 am curfew which if you don't meet, you sleep on the street. You aren't allowed to take your key outside, so why even issue keys if they are taken the second youn walk outside. The room smelt putrid and was drab and uncomfortable. But the real kicker...NO WIFI. I don't know how it's possible but there was no wifi which made planning a nightmare. The owner spends her time monitoring the activities of every guest which I might add was only one other person, but offers no real services. Spend a little extra and book elsewhere it will change the way you see Florence. This place drains energy.
