"The property is in great condition, but the area by the historic center is pretty run down. Surprisingly, there are a few good jewelry shops and restaurants there. The hotel is right by the port so convenient if you need to travel to other countries. The breakfast offered was excellent with many selections for pastries, fruits, cheese, bread, meat, and coffee including options for soy and almond milk. "Remote location on top of a hill. Unless you have a car or are able to climb lots of stairs to return from the town not a good location. There are no food options other than the hotel’s anywhere near. Oddly, while there is a kettle for making tea or instant coffee there are no black tea options…only herbal teas. Even after I asked the room attendant she said only herbal teas. As an older couple without a car we felt a bit stranded. We did walk the “shortcut” to town but it was not...

It was also conveniently located just a short walk from the train station, making it very practical for our travels. The host was super responsive and attentive over text messages.
