Search Chalets in Fontana Village

We found the hotel quite by chance after our previous booking at Asheville was cancelled due to Hurricane Helene. We absolutely loved everything about our stay - the hotel, the location, the staff, the hot tub, the hiking trails, and the trout I had in the Tapoco Tavern was one of the best meals I have had during my time in the US. We live in the UK but will definitely recommend the lodge to our family living in Atlanta and anybody we know visiting North Carolina

The Lodges are lovely - very well presented, with good facilities. The restaurant is also very good and worth visiting. Highly recommend a visit if you really want to get away from it all.

Was just a one night stop over - perfect for our needs. Quaint & has all you need with old fashioned feel which I prefer over ultra modern chain hotels.

Staff are extremely helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommended and I’ll be back next year

Hotel was easily found as visible from the main highway. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms clean, modern, comfortable. Park outside the room. Swimming pool not ready/cleaned not that I wanted to use it. Huddle House and Gas station 100 yards away should sort most needs. Only real gripe is that it is all a bit quiet.
