We went for a music festival that was easy access via the hotel tie in. However the check in they asked for $$$ for check in that differed by the hour if you wanted to get into your room earlier. The festival started at noon! Also the hotel is nice, but needs upgrades for the price.

Red Carpet Inn Airport and Cruise Port Hotel Fort Lauderdale
The room was clean, comfortable bed. Great pool, shuttle service to and from the airport worked great. It is an older style hotel but convenient and good value for money. Not a lot nearby but there was a restaurant right next door.
