"Good location and extremely nice friendly staff. Excellent coffee and fresh cookies are available in lobby area as well as a very good small continental breakfast. The local Cabot Creamery yogurt and cheddar cheese are delicious. Our room was in the new section. We have stayed at many hotels over the years in Stowe and this is one of the newer and best options. My only complaint is that the chairs on our balcony and outside along the river were very dirty. I understand they are outdoors but it...

"This is a unique former farmhouse and Inn built around 1790. The staff was helpful and the place spotless. Note the part about it being from 1790s...the floor sloped, stairs and some walls were obviously well worn, and our room was smaller than you would get at a chain hotel. This added to the charm and made it so cool. We were hoping to see a ghost but nope...nothing but good vibes and hospitality. Breakfast was made to order and was excellent. The bedding was first class and everything...
