"Beautiful hotel is excellent location close to both the beach and old town. Very friendly and helpful staff. Pool area was very clean nice area for evening relaxation. Breakfast was slightly disappointing but plenty of local restaurants available.. (Brunchit 5 mins away was the best I have ever had!)"

We stayed in a seaview room/half board Was brilliant.Great views great use of lounge with drinks and food throughout the day. I used the gym and was impressed with the flexibility of half board. "The front desk staff is available only from 9a - 6p and the person we dealt with didn't speak Spanish or English very well. They tried to get us to use our phone translator. They ended up calling someone else to help us on the phone. There was only one power outlet in the room, which is poor for this day and age of cell phones, laptops and pads. Our cover blanket was not clean. We found small red dots on it that appeared to be blood. Location was good. No water or coffee was offered or made...

Die Zimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen das macht das gesamte Resort aber wieder weg. Toilet unusable for a normal size person, the sink blocks you from sitting down (my wife was able to squeeze in diagonally). "I suppose the kindest thing to say is that The Monkey Room is a "work in progress". The hotel/hostal is right in the centre of Marbella Old Town and although it sets out in adverts to be "chic" and "cool" it has a long way to go. While I was there a workman was on site preparing another cubby hole as a bedroom and I think my room was only half-finished. The nights were cold and only a single sheet covered the bed and, after moving my room to the one in the photo (instead of on the roof) I found...
