It is centrally located and walkable to every major tourist points. It saved me a ton of time. The staff spoke every conceivable language it was quite relaxing not to have to hunt for words or start typing in google translate. Only grip was the AC controls were in Japanese. I think an English version would have been helpful. Otherwise I had a great time.

The hotel room is clean but a bit small. It is located in Gion and a station away from Hataka but we found it still very convenient. The staff is nice and helpful. There is a hot spring for you to enjoy and relax after a full-day shopping. We like it much.
