"Located within the fort, the hotel is conveniently situated within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and key attractions. The property is fairly basic but clean, and the included breakfast was decent. We were unfortunate to experience a power outage one morning, but it wasn’t a major inconvenience as we were heading out for the day anyway. Overall, a comfortable and well-located stay."

"This property is a stunning gem away from the heat and bustle of Galle Fort. A beautiful pool and a sea breeze is definite respite during the day A 5 minute tuk tuk ride will take you to the Fort. The rooms are large. The beds very comfy. The shower was perfect. All decorated simply and in keeping with the building 150 year age. Then there is Mohan who appears like magic when you need something. He is kind and friendly, the perfect host..if he offers to make you a traditional lunch or dinner...

"Værten var meget imødekommende og fleksibel. Jeg fortalte, hvad jeg ønskede til morgenmad og det fik jeg. Værten hjalp også med at arrangere en whale watching tur til Marissa. Udsigten fra Rampart View Guesthouse er virkelig god. Stedet er en smule slidt, men udsigten er god og værten meget hjælpsom og imødekommende. "
