"Rooms were like a children’s YMCA summer camp. For $700/night I expected much more comfort. Room decor was severely outdated and childlike, bathroom needs redoing, shower terrible. They need to invest some of their profits back into refurbishing the rooms."
"This hotel is a good value. It’s a bit worn, but clean and comfortable. The bed was great, plenty of pillows! The heat/AC worked perfectly. It was clean and acceptably quiet. They have a continental breakfast which was not the greatest - but ok. The staff was very nice and helpful. I’d stay here again."
"Nice stay in BEAUTIFUL location on Lake Yellowstone. All staff were helpful and the room was clean updated and cozy. Warm when it counted. Loved the big window sitting area looking out to the lake. Bar staff were nice and I appreciated the non alcohol options. Dining Room has impeccable service but I would say a little overpriced. No fitness facility TV or WiFi. But you're in the middle of a national park so don't stay in and watch TV just go outside and walk a few trails with the phone off! The animals are the best amenities!"
"We absolutely loved our stay at Hibernation Station — it ended up being our favorite place of the entire trip. Our private cabin felt cozy but still spacious enough to spread out and settle in comfortably. Everything was clean on arrival, and the in‑cabin fireplace was easy to use and added a really relaxing, warm atmosphere in the evenings.
The property was quiet overall, which made it a great place to unwind after long days in the park. It’s a little farther from town than some places, but still close enough that we could have walked if we wanted to. The outdoor hot tub was another highlight — private, peaceful, and perfect for ending the night.
Staff were very friendly during check‑in and throughout our stay. We genuinely missed this place when we left and wished we could have stayed longer. We’d come back in a heartbeat."
"Enjoyed our stay here. Staff very friendly. Prob with directTV connection promptly resolved. Heat/AC, MW, fridge all good. No parking issues. Rm 205 could use a new replacement door bottom-threshold sweep to seal 1" gap. Rolled bath mat filled it for the nite. Thanks!"
