"When we arrived my room was taken so we got a lower one I paid for a balcony a week ahead of time, we didn’t get told about the pool and hot tub was down so me and my kids were ready and had to pay some where to do something with them , someone spilled seeds out side the door we told them about it the day before we left as housekeeper were on the phones and didn’t clean it up until after we left, and then we would have to pay $16 a plate so um yeah , if we need a place to Silverthorne rec center was awesome !!! "Great property with direct access to ski lift. Short walk to main street with lots of shops and restaurants. We enjoyed jacuzzis and arcade for kids. Only negative was quality of sofa bed, very uncomfortable to sleep. "

"Great location. Staff was great. Next to us it felt like one of the staff members had friends staying there. We saw the evening desk worker hanging out with them during the evening before his shift. They were loud but quieted down when we contacted the front desk. Other than that, great place, pool is heated and year round so our daughter loved it. Bar is awesome. The game room is also great. "

"First, there was no hot water the entire stay. I checked in around 6 PM and was told the boiler had been turned back on and I would get hot water soon. I waited until 2 AM—still no hot water. The next morning, there was still none. On top of that, the shower wouldn’t drain properly.
I called to speak to a manager, but he was not helpful and never followed up. I was unable to take a proper shower the entire weekend.
Housekeeping was also a major issue. I had my Do Not Disturb sign on, yet staff entered my room twice without knocking. I told them we were checking out the next day (we had to use Google Translate since they didn’t speak English), and they acknowledged it. Despite that, about an hour later, another housekeeping staff member tried to enter again while I was getting dressed. Thankfully, I had the safety chain on.
To be honest, the situation felt very uncomfortable and unprofessional.
The food at the restaurants was also underwhelming, and prices were extremely high (for example, $10 for a bottle of Fiji water).
On the last night, a group of about 10 people were partying loudly in a nearby room for over 2 hours. There was no response from security or management, despite the disturbance.
The rooms were somewhat clean, but overall, the experience was unacceptable for the price"

Mountain Valley Inn & Suites
2/10 Terrible
"Toilet was clogged, front desk handed my girlfriend a plunger that was old and useless and said have fun. I left them a thank you n the toilet. Also heat/ac was useless just a big air fan that did nothing and was almost too hot in the room to sleep "
