"This is a storybook property, very quaint and charming. This is an old property though so don’t expect anything modern. Also, if you are a large person the small doors and hallways might be uncomfortable. This property is on-a walking street only about 1/3 mile to parking and a minute walk to the castle. Google maps originally put us on a very winding road that goes to the castle, don’t go this way, google Obidos Parking instead and avoid the windy roads."

"Perfect location and Interesting historic property in the walled City- rooms are comfortable but there is no elevator and no one at the property after 10 pm . the breakfast/ coffee area is self serve and was quite untidy the morning we went down."

"Very nice place, has everything you need. Shower head needed maintenance. Tried to reach the owners through the expedia platform but they didn't answer. Probably whatsapp was the better way to reach them but I couldnt use it. Very minor issues overall. Thanks!"

"When you book a room that is on the first floor make sure it is not higher tha 109 if you have walking difficulties the are steep steps without hand rail. Also the parking is in the street "

"No coffee pods or soap/shampoo provided for shower. Having those would have made a huge difference in our stay. The pool was nice and they had towels. We were able to walk into town which was nice. The view of castle was terrific. Very quiet and peaceful."

"Lovely boutique hotel, and super staff. Room 3 is right next to entrance and lobby which can get noisy fyi. Great breakfast options. Be aware the parking is around the corner at a deck, or on street up by the market. Wonderful location, would definitely recommend this lovely spot!"
