"I love Villa Amore and this was my second time there, but we had an issue with the new staff person working the breakfast area in morning. I had a friend and his wife come over for 20 minutes or so to visit with us. When I went back to our room this woman charged my friend and his wife 63 Euros!! They paid it, unfortunately. I didn't find out about this until a couple of days later. It seems that they should have only paid 10 Euros each for 'breakfast' (a cappuccino and a few pieces of stale cake) but the other 43 Euros were the room tax that we owed - this airhead charged my friends for what were our charges!! I spoke to Antonio the manager about it the following day and voiced my displeasure. They had a great morning person there last year - it's a shame she couldn't return this year. Also, the baggage assistant Salvatore is a gem - so helpful and friendly. He's the only reason we would ever consider coming back."
