"This is a budget oriented hotel; somewhat stylish, clean but also very simple with few amenities. The rooms are named after operas from the namesake composer, hometown boy Vincenzo Bellini. The AC worked and at first you fear the hot water will run short but turn it up and the water will heat up. The street (the San Orsola) and the entry hall look shabby and battered but the hotel is ok. I don't know why it's described as a B & B, as the live-in manager does not provide breakfast. "The entrance is in a dirty back alley . No cars allowed. ( and no lighting at night) Where you are greeted by a dead plant outside the door. You then have to climb 51 steps with your luggage to get to reception , which is on the 3rd floor . Again no lights working on stairs at night It says lift not working .but it was on different levels when you go in , which seemed odd if it’s not working . Shame as rooms were nice , but rather noisy especially at night mostly due to the old windows ...
