Can Find Better

Had to wait for 15 minutes to get hot water. Convenient location to highway but very basic accommodations.

Very Good Decision

I liked this hotel because it has some amenities that other hotels don't have. Wireless doesn't work at your room , you should go to the lobby to use your own computer to get an internet access. other amenities were working without problems. NO SHUTTLE, but this problem is with all hotels in Youngstown not in this hotel only. Cheap price with good service.........I'm gonna choose it again if I need to.

I Would Not Stay Here Again

I would not stay at this hotel again. First, the location is poor. It is right off of Interstate 80 and you can hear the cars on the highway in your room. The hallways are outdoors and the facilities are poorly lit so we were a little concerned for our safety. The hotel is also not on the main drag where the other hotels are. It is on a dingy side road next to another seedy hotel and a night club. Our room was supposed to be non-smoking however it reeked of cigarette smoke. The towels were really old and also smelled of cigarette smoke. The sheets were fine but smelled of cigarette smoke. The bathroom was dirty. There was hair from the previous guest in the shower. This hotel was not even worth the lower rate we paid compared to the other hotels in the area.

Not nice

The motel seems nearly abandoned. Clothing from a previous guest was still in the room.The were no towels and no wifi signal in the room.

Exactly what I expected.

This offers a basic hotel experience. Convenient location near major highways. I don't know that I'd stay here on a vacation (or take a vacation in Youngstown) but as a place to sleep, this hotel was exactly what I expected, so I was extremely satisfied. Nice staff, quiet, decently clean, no frills, good price. I'd stay here again.

cheap and decent place to sleep

this hotel is exactly what we expected -- cheap and mostly decent. the cleanliness factor in the room was better than some reviews we read. the only real problem was that the electronic key card system was down and the receptionist had to let us in our room, but we were just there to sleep -- not going in and out. property was in rough shape and the breakfast was nothing special, but as a place to stop and get some rest -- just fine and very cheap compared to most place these days.

good for the money

rooms were recently redone so they were clean, still in process of renovating. check in was supposed to be at 3pm did not get in room till 5:30pm also check out said 12 got woken up at 9am to the maid opening the door telling us to get out. Don't expect breakfast at hotel they had bread in bags for breakfast thats about it. good for a cheap place to sleep for the night, plan to get there late and leave early.

Needs Improvement

It seemed as if they were working on making improvements on the motel, but have a long, long way to go. The parking is not very convenient and the overall condition of the motel is poor. The towels and bedding were clean but very old. A few of the towels looked like old shop rags. I was only there one day and choose not to use the shower. The cost of the room was in line with its condition. You only get what you pay for.

Low- class dive

If all you want is a place to sleep with a door that locks, you'll be OK here. This was the dingiest, run-down, unkempt "hotel" we had ever seen. There were no lights in the lobby when we checked in, the front desk clerk was arguing on the phone about where her car was as she checked us in. The lobby reeked of stale smoke, so we avoided the "breakfast buffet" in the morning. The mattress was horrible and did not fit or stay on the boxspring, and the pillows were like folded towels. We had to re-string the curtains so the would cover the window from people walking by the room. The exterior grounds were weed-covered and probably have not been mowed all summer. And not that I would have gone near it, but the pool was covered and out of service in the middle of July!

Keep Driving or Find a Park Bench to Sleep On

We just needed a clean place to sleep. This place is disgusting. Outside trash bin overflowing,not enough towels in the room (how do you have not enough towels when they knew how many of us were arriving) and the ones that were brought to us were dirty and smelled of cigarettes (more like they were used to clean the ashtrays), carpet was matted and filthy, our no smoking room smelled of cigarette smoke and bedspread had burn holes, lights and clock were unplugged and upon plugging the lights in we discovered they had no light bulbs. The drawers smelled of mildew and there were no glasses in the room. We could hear every move of our upstairs neighbors. The air conditioner unit worked well and they did provide us with a refrigerator as requested. They couldn't pay me to stay here again.

Good room for the price

The only negative is that internet access was supposed to be available. It was, but only in the lobby. For the price, though, I'd stay there again.

Could be better, could be worse

Nothing unexpected for the price. Nicer than many similarly priced hotels. However, the bedspread was not laundered and the Wi-Fi was barely available. Coffee pot was dirty & the room overall was not what I would call "clean". The hotel is in a quiet area, but the rooms & doors are really not insulated for sound.

Nasty socks found in made bed!

My wife, eight month old baby, and I were in the area for a wedding. We booked this hotel because it was at a good price and close to the ceremony. Upon arriving in the room, we did a quick run through. The wireless internet did not work, there was dirt in the tub not to mention it was slimy, and then the piece de la resistance--a grimy and worn pair of socks left in our made bed. The sheets were back up to the head of the bed and comforter and throw were neatly folded under the pillows; there was simply a dirty pair of socks looking up at us. Gross!

Undergoing Renovation

Hotel needed an upgrade and it was ongoing. Room was clean and cheap. No WIFI in room.

Okay for the price

The hotel was very reasonably priced. The parts of the room I think are most important (bed/linens and bathroom) were clean. The floor and fabric furniture were not. The coffee pot was not. I recommend bringing slippers. The breakfast was minimal (cereal, toast, juice, coffee) but reasonable given the price. We were travelling through so our total hotel time was only 10 hours total. It was quiet, dark and reasonably comfortable. It met our needs and was economical.

Watch out in winter!

Heat in the room wqs pretty fair. The grounds left much to be desired
