I highly recommended this hotel it's away from the centre, so you get piece and quiet and not far walking distance to the train station. Fantastic pool, jacuzzi, steam and sauna rooms and cool water shower to use during your stay as well as a 24 hour gym The breakfast was really nice. The room was very clean and they provide you with anything you need extra towels and milk etc Also a nice gesture was free water machine in reception and comfortable places to sit while you wait for a taxi I would most definitely stay there again in the future.

Good value hotel and around a 20 minute walk to The Hydro. Dated room, but we appreciated how spacious it was and the bed was comfy. Reasonable soundproofing throughout. Good breakfast, although I didn’t feel that well catered for as a tea drinker. Pool looked nice

The room was great. The overall experience was not. Arrived at check in time to be told the roo. Wasn't ready. So we sat at the bar. Couldn't understand a word the barman said. Bought 2 glasses of not very nice wine for £10!!. We booked primarily because of the spa facilities. We could not use the swimming pool because it was full of kids. I was also woke up by kids running up and down the hall. Worst of all, the staff acted like we were a hassle, not as guests

Our room was spotless, and very comfortable, and the majority of staff were lovely, helpful and polite. Our only real issue was the health club, where the ladies changing rooms were absolutely filthy. In the showers, there was a huge amount of hair stuck to the floor and cubicle walls, dirty plasters on the floor and someone had even spat on a mirror in the changing room and it hadn't been cleaned. Also, there were children running riot in the pool and in the hot tub (allegedly over 16s only), and absolutely nobody showered before entering the pool, with the staff just watching and not intervening. The location is brilliant for central glasgow, but cleaning in the pool areas definitely needs to be improved.
