Empire Hotel
8/10 Good
"Location to London Center is perfect. Pool was not open--not until May was the message. What is "resort fee" if not the pool? I stay here when going to Lincoln Center unless price is crazy high. "

Hyatt Grand Central New York

"Bad smell in room"

Pod Times Square
8/10 Good
"The pod hotel is really great. 2nd time we’ve stayed here. It is spotless. Concierge are super helpful and so knowledgeable. We didn’t eat here and only had 1 drink at the bar as New a York is outside the hotel.
It’s 5min walk from Times Square, the bus station and 10min from Javits Conference centre, the Vessel & Hudson Yards.
The rooms are compact but for 3 days were perfect as they are really clean and shower is awsome. Cleaned every day. Remember to put your “Service Now” plate on the outside of the metal door.
I really do like pod hotel."

PUBLIC, an Ian Schrager hotel

"The only hotel I stay in nyc!! Perfect location "

Hyatt Regency Times Square
8/10 Good
"The property was very convenient to walk to subway stations, Central Park and Rockefeller Center. Wish it had a coffee maker in the room. It was a hassle to go down 40 floors to grab a cup of coffee in the morning."

Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Staff was super sweet and friendly. Was able to give us directions at times too. Food was amazing in the lobby bar. And the waiter we had is super awesome. "

Hampton Inn New York Times Square
6/10 Okay
"Elevators were inadequate for the number of floors and people staying there. Breakfast a madhouse each day. Very average. Staff were cheerful, helpful, profesional."

Margaritaville Resort Times Square
6/10 Okay
"The location of the hotel was excellent and easily the best part of the stay. It was close to everything we wanted to do, including the metro, Times Square, restaurants, and shows, which made getting around very convenient. The room itself was very clean and well maintained, and we appreciated the small touches like complimentary water bottles. We also had a nice view, which added to the overall comfort of the room.
That said, despite the great location and cleanliness, I probably wouldn’t stay here again. The elevators were a major issue and really took away from the experience. There were four elevators total, but only two actually serviced the lobby. One elevator was out of order during our stay, and another only ran between reception on the 7th floor and the guest rooms. As a result, wait times were extremely long. We often stood waiting while elevators arrived already full and then continued on. We did eventually take the stairs a few times from the 10th floor down to the street, but the hotel goes from floor 7 to 30+ so that's not feasible for many.
Additionally, a smaller but frustrating issue was that the shower soap in our room ran out and was never refilled, even after housekeeping visits. While not a dealbreaker on its own, combined with the elevator problems it added to the overall disappointment.
Unfortunately, these issues overshadowed what could have otherwise been a very enjoyable stay, especially for the cost."

Millennium Hotel Broadway Times Square
4/10 Poor
"Booked connecting rooms and called three times before travel to ensure rooms would be connecting due to a need as caregiver for travel companion but on check in I was told I didnt book the rooms that connect. Moved to connecting rooms the next day however they were a downgraded room with no bottled water, coffee maker, or frig. Unable to change thermostat. Rooms too warm. Hairs in both showers. Hotel website lists a restaurant on site however it has been closed for a year. No offer of a partial refund or any compensation for their issues. Would not recommend."
