"Mixed review here. The pros - spectacular hotel grounds, beautiful design, peaceful setting, amazing view. The staff was friendly and went above and beyond to ensure guests were happy. Breakfast was good. Pool is beautiful. The kids club is great and was a favorite for young ones. The cons - rooms are very basic. Nothing special about them. "The cottages are behind cow sheds and when I arrived felt like being not inhabited. Looked a bit run down. The interior of the cottage was perfect, the door however did not lock and travelling alone, I did not close an eye. It then was fixed the following day, although I did not say anything. Then a handy man was fixing and painting the cottage next to the one I was in, and suddenly he was painting shatters and fence while I was in the cottage. Obviously I was disturbed by the smell. "This is very much a hidden gem. It was like a little oasis. We especially enjoyed the pool, hottub and jacuzzi. The place was very clean and the area very quiet.
