"We were very pleased with our experience at this hotel. We stayed for one night but we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the rooms, decor, and amenities. It was affordable and offered decent breakfast options. Quick access to the beach via a boardwalk was great. Staff were clearly working very hard to keep the hotel clean and looking great. Only one front desk staff was not overly friendly. Only minor complaint is that I wish the doors to the hallway were a little more soundproof and the vibrations could be felt through the floor when kids ran up and down the hallway making noise. This is not the hotel's fault of course. Would definitely go back and stay here."

"Rooms are spacious , housekeeping is very good. Morning breakfast was good. one morning bacon & Scrambled eggs were undercooked but edible. All staff are pleasant and eager to handle any problems . The lounge is well stocked and both bar tenders know their jobs well , food served is also good and plentiful . Happy hour 5 - 6 pm each evening is half price and closes at 10 pm"

"I had paid for ocean view expecting to see the ocean. However I saw maybe a foot of it between the overgrown shrubs. No big deal if I didn’t request ocean view as well as call to confirm ocean view. I did like that housekeeping did not bother you daily I also would have like to have known that Jekyll island had a pay to park toll every day. Wish that would have been added into the stay not an extra $49"

"The hotel had a musty smell when you first walked into the lobby, but overall it wasn’t entirely bad. However, once you got into the rooms, the rooms had amazing smell and they were very clean. Perhaps they may need to change their carpeting in the lobby and in the hallway because there are no carpets in the rooms so that’s why there’s no smells in there but overall the hotel was great and the staff was very helpful."
