"HONEST REVIEW: 2 couples booked rooms here for a short 4-day getaway. My husband and I had never been here before. Arrived, parked, went to check in. Front desk staff was friendly, funny, and helpful. Grabbed our bags and headed to the elevator. We were on the 3rd floor (there are easy stairs tho on the back side). Balcony was awesome (altho the door was a bit hard to open/close), chairs were perfect, great view and people/bike watching. The bed was comfortable, the AC worked perfect, the mini fridge was cold, the microwave was a +. The room/bath was CLEAN!!! The bathrm had a wall heater which was perfect for those chilly mornings getting ready for the day. A separate switch for the bath fan, still not sure why this isn't an option in EVERY hotel!! TWO SINKS! Lets talk about the breakfast. Differently prepared eggs every morning of our 4-day stay, sausage, bacon, hard boiled eggs, bagels, toast, cream cheese, butter, granola, yogurt, salt/pepper and all the fixins, but the Western Omelets were the BEST! Now, lets get back to the hotel. The 4 of us enjoyed the gas fire on the patio, perfect spot to relax with a beverage and chat about the days events. Behind the hotel there are picnic tables in a grassy area. We brought our own grill but they have one there you can use. We were still early in the year to use the pool but we can't wait to get back, it's the perfect spot to soak up the sun! BTW: FREE PARKING!! This little hotel is a hidden GEM in chinocoteague!! BOOK IT!"
"Everything was simple and easy-contactless check-in and the place was very clean and cool floating on the water. Kitchen was great to save money on going out to eat. Parking was close and always available. The bugs were a bit obnoxious at times but that is to be expected by the water. Stunning views and quiet atmosphere. Loved it!"
"This has been—without a doubt—one of the worst stays I have ever experienced in my life. If you’re looking for a “real” getaway that feels like something out of a horror movie, then this is the hotel to visit.
First, they claim that breakfast is included, but when you arrive, all they offer is coffee in a dirty, unkept area. The pool area is disgusting—it looks like it could be home to the next frog prince or even the source of a future pandemic.
In the room, you’ll encounter everything you can imagine: insects like ants and spiders, leaks in the shower, and an air conditioner so loud it makes it impossible to sleep.
But out of all these unfortunate experiences, the most absurd situation happened on my last night. Around 9:00 p.m., another guest tried to open my door because they had also been assigned the same room I was already staying in."
"A tired big old building with a beautiful view. Bed and linens, comfy and clean rug had a sour but not unbearable. Smell. Coffee pot I had cruddy black mold in the bottom. And noticed in the morning that we had no shower curtain."
"The property was very nice. The cottages were clean, and the view of the bay was beautiful. There is a lovely outdoor seating area with fire rings that you can use on the cooler nights. My only little complaint would be that the pool closes at dusk, but it has an awesome colored light setup that would have been nice to swim in. A second minor thing would be a lack of cabinet storage for any purchased food. The only available space would be too high for my shorter wife. These complaints are rather minor."

"Very friendly staff, nice amenities especially the indoor pool which is nicely maintained. Breakfast buffet was great and also very clean. Nice water view from the room and nice size room. Would definitely stay again!"
