We had a wonderful stay at Áurea Washington Irving. The hotel is absolutely beautiful — elegant, peaceful, and spotlessly maintained. Our room was extremely comfortable, with thoughtful touches throughout, and the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating.
One standout moment was our early departure on the final morning. Since breakfast was included in our booking but we were leaving before service started, the team kindly prepared a picnic breakfast for us — complete with menu options. The food was tasty and really appreciated!
The gym is very well equipped, and the rooftop pool is a lovely spot to relax with great views. The hotel is also ideally located for visiting the Alhambra and nearby gardens and parks.
Do note: the hotel is situated at the top of a hill, so returning from the city center involves a bit of an uphill walk — but we considered it part of the workout!
We’d absolutely recommend Áurea Washington Irving for a quiet, comfortable stay in a truly scenic part of Granada.
