"No deep cleaning done in rooms. Dirty in bathroom. Bedding was old and worn. Very limited staff. Breakfast offered was stale muffins awful. Pool was not maintained and an oily film was floating on top. I always look at the rating on properties and this hotel was definitely misrepresented. Old, Old, Old and the room rate was expensive for a hotel stay of this quality. Would not recommend this property to anyone."

It's in town, so it's an easy drive to Main Street and close to a ton of great local restaurants and wineries. Compared to a lot of other lodging options in the area, this hotel was priced better. Another huge plus is that they allow one-night stays over the weekend, whereas almost all the local B&Bs require a two-night minimum. "We really enjoyed the location, staff, cleanliness, and design of this hotel. It was the perfect place to stay in Fredericksburg. We were able to easily walk to everything we wanted to do over the weekend. The only complaint I have is based on principle alone. We were charged a $25 per day amenity fee that is not disclosed anywhere and it is not mentioned or listed at check-in. "The hotel was exactly what you would expect for a Days Inn. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. There were no frills. The walls were very thin and you heard your neighbors. There is no space around the hotel to walk dogs. It was comfortable for the price paid. Fantastic location. It is three blocks from the main drag. Very easy to walk and some cute breakfast places down the street. Everything is very walkable from there."
