"The room was spotless. The service at check-in by Boone was over and above. We loved breakfast. We loved the location. Our corner room 0443 was perfect with a great view of the Esplanade and Trinity Bay. Only reason to give a 4-star was that room thermostats are not operable by the guests. However, we asked at reception and they sent a maintenance staff to lower the temp to 20 for us - we like a cooler room than 21. It’s hot in Cairns during December. "
