"We booked this hotel because it was advertised as a 4-star hotel, but it was nowhere close to that rating. At best, it felt like a 3-star property. The facility itself is large with many rooms, but the maintenance and service were below average.
The pillows in our room smelled bad, and when we informed the front desk, they said someone would come replace them, but that never happened. We requested to have the room freshened up, but when we returned later in the evening, nothing had been done. The staff did not seem to know why the request was never attended to.
Another surprising issue was that when we asked for plates and cutlery for the room, they said that house keeping was not available. That was very unexpected for a hotel claiming to be 4-star.
Overall, the experience was disappointing, and the cleanliness, maintenance, and service all felt below average."
